Christies Beach

I live near Christies Beach in Adelaide, South Australia. It is a very beautiful place to visit and the coastline stretches away to Cape Jervis and Kangaroo Island as you gaze south.

In 2008 my wife Catherine and I moved to the Sunshine Coast hinterland for a tree change. It certainly was. We loved it and I guess the change incorporated a new recognition of the ocean, the landscape and nature itself.
When Covid struck I picked up some brushes for the first time and started to paint. I loved everything about it. Thank goodness I discovered this fabulous pastime. My favourite medium has been acrylics, and I enjoy painting landscapes, seascapes, animals, flowers and more.
I can’t wait to see what artistic challenges await!
