Living in the south of Western Australia provides an abundance of creative inspiration from coastal scenes, beautiful skies and sunsets to farming communities and tall tree forests. Living in this part of the world an artist is spoiled for choice.
Having been a part time artist for most of my life and now happily retired I am free to play more often and to try new mediums. Much of my recent work is created through kiln fired glass, resin art or acrylic texture painting and mixed media works. Developing a concept to a point where the medium I am using starts to influence the design is the moment when I feel my creativity kicking in and is so satisfying to be able to manipulate the medium further or liberating to simply watch it take over and enhance the project.
My works have been shown in local Western Australian exhibitions and sold works have travelled to Sydney, Queensland, Singapore and Denmark and many local homes.
