Five O'clock

I wanted to capture a woman with an expressive posture looking like she enjoys an interesting life. Fresh colours were used to add further to the positive mood.

I am inspired most by the light and colours in a landscape that captures me on my daily walk or kayak around the lower north shore in Sydney where I live.
In my paintings I aim to abstract the colours and shapes to highlight a mood and give some simplicity or energy for the viewer to enjoy.
