This painting is part of a new series created after a major shift in my creative practice earlier this year. I’ve been exploring spacious, raw passages that leave room for the canvas to breathe while pushing colour into bolder, more emotional territory. Deep blues, bruised violets and flashes of raw light create a sense of movement without resolving into a fixed image.
The work sits in that edge-space I’ve been chasing — where intuition leads, the surface stays honest, and the painting feels alive rather than polished. It’s an atmospheric, layered piece that carries both tension and openness.
