This artwork was a finalist in the Naked And Nude Art Prize at Manning Regional Gallery 2025. It is a self portrait of myself in my sewing room while i was studying a Fashion and Design course
Hi and welcome , My name is Laine and I live in the middle of the Australian bush and my heritage is Scottish. I draw inspiration from the natural world around me, particularly the creatures in it and I use my imagination to create a new world of my own. I think we are most creatively free when we are very young and I have made it my mission to retain this pure, joyous form of expression.
