Watercolour Paint on paper
Signed on the front.
The rose was named after the music by composer Vaughan Williams - The Lark Ascending.
This work was painted in an intuitive style where there was no initial sketch, each brushstroke adding to the composition until happy. The "lark" negatively painted at the very end.
