this work forms part of the Asia series of works over 25 are now in the ongoing series, this is the first painting in various media on canvas, the work will be left unstreteched it has approx 10 to 15cm of space around it to be re-stretched and or framed , the other works from the series were created in ink on vintage book pages and small mixed media drawings, I have travelled to Japan several times and am always inspired to create travel drawings from all my travels throughout Asian countries, the works from this series come from my own personal collection of sketches, doodles and photographs taken.

Please Note - the other images show show works from the series in private collections also the image of the work LOTUS as a giclee canvas print is now in all the Hotel rooms in the Boutique refit HOTEL KABUKI in the Japan town section in San Francisco USA. the original ink on vintage book page Lotus artwork lives with a private collector in France.
