After the forest fire, orange scars are revealed through the weight of gentle rain sloughing ashy
layers from remaining trees. Trunks appear molten, melted. Curled tendrils provide
relief from the tired lines of a destroyed forest showing no sign of recovery.
A surreal landscape stripped of life. Climate change, drought, land clearing and weather all hold
blame but ultimately, we are the greatest threat. Our denial grows as natureโs resilience weakens,
yet we continue as if in a dream.
