Influenced by the still life tradition of Cubism, deconstructing the scene into a series of tonal shapes and forms. Playing with layering to develop unique textures and haptic surface quality. I like the surreal element that is created through this experimental approach, loosely depicting shadow and perspective within an ambiguous space.

My art practice explores everyday life through acrylic paint and tactile collage, using layering, texture, and colour to reinterpret the world around me. I work intuitively, experimenting with materials to transform ordinary scenes into visual stories. Inspired by my surroundings, I find joy in observation and seek to present my perspectives through material exploration and process, connecting and inviting viewers to look closely and find delight in familiar experiences.
