Lucinda Crimson has been obsessed with pattern, colour, a maximalist aesthetic and mid-century objects since she was a teenager in the 80s.
Lucinda Crimson started studying Fine Arts at Curtin University in 1989 and has had a varied career over the decades primarily as a fashion designer, artist and art teacher. She is a proficient screenprinter and has exhibited her work in sculptural installations as well as spray-painted murals but has recently returned to her first love, painting. She is disabled with ME/CFS so currently her new works are painted on an iPad.
