Part of a series of hand explorations, this colourful, fun and whimsical piece, celebrates the activity of the hand in doing something pretty much everyone likes to do, eating a rich raspberry macaroon.

I have been painting and drawing all my life in periods where time allows. in more recent times have been focused on the beautiful Australian landscape, painting in oils to capture the muted charm of the Melbourne Bay area amongst other things. I also draw and paint in watercolour on paper, bringing to life local scenes as I find them, life drawing, still life and figurative studies.
