I’m a practising Artist and Art therapist. My interest in creativity came with me when I popped into the world as a baby. It’s ebbed and flowed, though I am constantly reminded that making art is my most direct connect to what I know to be God! I have been in the Social work field for many years and practicing as a Counsellor and Art Therapist. Supporting those that are traveling through difficult life situations, grief, loss, transition, trauma and so on. Art has and is the main tool I use to help people understand themselves and their path, from a soul centred place rather than from their minds.
I’m in a time where I’d like to sit back from assisting others and discover what my art has to share with me. What is its inquiry, through me. A bit like how summer is bright, energising and brings us warmth and fun…winter slows, hibernates and allows us to go inward. I feel it’s my time to allow my winter. To speak the language of my soul through paintings and collages and anything else that say’s ‘hey, express me’.
My works are vibrant, emotive, deep, bright and command ones presence.
