Lucy is an artist who uses bright colour and pattern in acrylic paint to paint joyful statement pieces that highlight the unique and gorgeous flowers and birds of Australia.
She has painted for many years, with exhibitions in the places she has lived, such as Wagga Wagga, Port Macquarie and now Lismore, Iluka, Brisbane, Nimbin and Lennox Head.
She won the Margaret McLaren Emerging Artist Award in 2024 with the Nimbin Gallery and is always interested in getting involved in promoting community art.
She lives on a property in Northern NSW with her husband and five children, dogs and ducks and has a huge garden and rainforest regeneration area.
She is about to hold her second Charity Open Garden and Studio in September, which is a wonderful community event to raise money for the local hospital charity, OurKids.
