Now in my retirement and able to indulge in watercolour creations inspired by nature. In my teaching career I was passionate in my teaching of creative art with young children. Now I have the freedom and time for my own work. I have experimented with different media but seem to always gravitate back to the beauty of watercolours. I am inspired by my life in the gardens of my childhood and my own homes throughout the years. I particularly like the technique of wet on wet , but also like to challenge myself with botanical style work. I find watercolour is a meditative process and love the dynamic nature of where the paint flows and takes the work.
