Luisa Pentland is a Melbourne-based oil pencil artist who brings a gentle, soulful curiosity, connecting people and places with her art.
Luisa captures human experience by delicate layering of colour and texture, resulting in evocative award winning portraits and landscapes that capture a sense of romantic and haunting beauty.
She has earned significant recognition within the Victorian arts community; having been recently awarded the John Withers Scholarship with the Pastel Society of Victoria and has been a selected artist for the Camberwell Art Show in 2025 and 2026. She is also an active member and Demonstrations Convenor for Ringwood Arts Society (RAS).
Luisa has also recently exhibited with RAS at the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show (“Art in Full Bloom”), Montsalvat ("A Shared Palette") exhibition and also at the Warrandyte Art Show.
Her versatility has been highlighted by several RAS Member's Showcase awards for Best Landscape and Still Life and also Awards for Urbanscape and Portraiture.
Through her evocative pencil works Luisa continues to invite viewers to experience a meaningful connection with her art.
