This is a drawing of a figure with a flag that has the title of the Neil Young song: "Keep on Rocking in the Free World." I love this song and the meaning behind it. I listened to lots of music on my laptop while on a studio residency at the Big Ci in 2021.

The text is in the artist book with hand drawn portraits about Buddhist philosophy.

There are five naked figures in the earth. The idea is they are submerged in the bowels of the earth to heal them.

The portrait of Batman is with a goatee beard. It's a simple drawing about the animalistic nature of the figure.

I used to meditate many years ago and enjoyed the idea of the Indian god Shiva. I draw multiple arms often in my drawings with out consciously thinking why.
