I am an artist living in Central Victoria, and I have been working as an artist for many years.
My work is mainly inspired by the natural world, especially the rural landscape of central Victoria. The wonderful views of mountain ranges, areas of bush, sense of space and changing colours of the seasons are all inspiring. I want to convey the captivating beauty and changing moods of the surrounding landscape as well as itβs inner spirit.
My own garden, as well as the many beautiful gardens in my area are also an inspiration, with their designed depiction of nature.
I originally trained in Textile Design at RMIT (Melbourne), and I have worked as a freelance textile designer, especially with silk painting.
In my early career I also worked as a freelance illustrator, especially with childrens books.
I have also studied painting at BRIT (Bendigo) in 2009, and I exhibit and sell regularly in local and regional art shows.
