Oil on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.
Signed on the front.
I photographed some yellow tailed black cockatoos in the tall trees at the seaside township of Queeenscliff in Victoria. I loved the shape this bird made as she tucked her beak in to preen and decided I’d love to paint her. I have painted the bird in oils and lightly decorated the background in inks. The sides of the canvas have been painted white to blend with the background.
