Created from the love of living by the sea, a simple daily ritual of a walk on the beach by my home has inspired my collection of ink and Indian Ocean seawater paintings from West Coast Australia. Created within transcendent circles, a sacred symbol of life and soul, my abstract Soulcircle art offer a path inwards. Each artwork evolves from an intuitive free flow, I work with ink and seawater with sea-salt encrusting on paper, some are later layered with oils on canvas paper. I also create larger works with oils on canvas that are adorned with seashells. I’m an artist, sealover and soulseeker and am deeply inspired by the sea, I believe in its ability to soothe our soul and transform our lives. My art evokes it’s calming nature, captures its sensibility and reminds us to enjoy life’s simply pleasures.
