Artist Bio

In the early ’70’s Lynne fled the bustle of Sydney to the Northern Rivers where she established a successful Signwriting and Graphic Arts business. Lynne worked mainly within the entertainment industry producing billboards and posters for many touring acts, from flamboyant ‘All Male Revues’ to Heavy Metal Bands. Other larger commissions included Stage Design and Public Art Projects.

Lynne settled in Byron Bay in 1979, continuing her graphic arts business while studying Visual Arts at Lismore College.
Her passion for travel has led her back to visual arts combining designs in nature, many cultures and architectural styles of past eras creating a body of work named 'Global Patterns’. Using her many collected images she creates a mesmerising symmetry of religious symbols, patterns and colour. Lynne's intricate line work and attention to detail form beautiful timeless works.
