On a Rainy Day

My paintings come from within, every day, every time I pick up the paintbrush a new story unfolds
Waking up to a wintery, grey rainy day feeling BLAH! A stay in bed day o ... into my studio I go with no ideas, no meditation, simply going to see what happens. Turning up the music, the rain pouring outside and picked up the paint brush and acrylic gold paint. Feeling the light and the gold energy, its time for FUN.
The Golden portal drew me in with layers and textures. The beams of colour took me by surprise but filled me with JOY. Letting them fly across the canvas and feeling this Sun on my face, observing
how the light played across the canvas and feeling the energy it created in the room.
On a Rainy Day is one of my favourites, it has a way of transforming any space and can be hung portrait, or landscape you will see it will bring life to any room. The Gold Sun comes alive with sunlight and candlelight plays and will look beautiful with or without a frame in your home, office, or business.

I was told to find JOY and to be honest, actually didn't know what that even meant. So, over the last few years, I've healed and grown and hermited and discovered through painting and creating beauty that I found the secret of Joy and how to Love myself.

This is My Journey here on the walls of this page, each with their own story.

Coming out of the closet with my paintings which until now had been stored away, you see my Raw emotions, Good, Sad, Wild, Childish and so much Love and Light.

I channel many of my paintings, they simply pour out of me onto the canvas and Surprise, Delight, make me laugh, always letting go and trusting the process. They come from within me... meditating and trusting. I am truly in wonder at what appears on my canvas and feel you will be drawn to the energy of the painting that touches your heart too.
