Claw Machine - 4/7 Ed. 4 of 7

This print was created based on a claw machine in Tokyo

It was created using polyester plate lithography in my home studio.

Seven black, white and gray prints were produced.

No further prints can be produced as the plates deteriorate during the printmaking process.

The printed image measures 18 cm wide by 26.5 cm high.

Charmaine Macdonald grew up in country Victoria.

She followed her interest in technology and mathematics, gaining a Computer Science degree from the University of Melbourne in 1996. This was followed by over twenty years in the corporate world.

In recent years Charmaine has pursued study and a practice in the visual arts. She is currently focusing on the themes of obsolescence and the ownership of public and private space.

She has exhibited within Australia, selling work locally and internationally.

Charmaine lives in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne with her husband, her son, two cats and a somewhat variable number of fish.
