Rebirth is the emergence of the version of me I had only ever dreamed of being. It represents transformation, reclamation, and the unfolding of the person I was always destined to become. This piece carries the energy of renewal, strength, and the tender fierceness of stepping into a self built from truth rather than survival.

I’m Maddie, an Australian artist and the creator of Surrender Heart to Art Studio. My work is rooted in healing, resilience, and the courage it takes to rebuild a life from the ground up.

Painting found me unexpectedly and became a place of quiet clarity, a way to process what I couldn’t yet express in words. Through sobriety, motherhood, and starting again, art has been my grounding force.

My practice is intuitive and emotional. I work in layers, allowing softness and intensity to coexist. Each piece reflects lived experience, memory, and the beauty I find in nature, especially the moments that helped me come home to myself.

My art isn’t about perfection. It’s about honesty. Every piece holds something real. And I’m deeply excited to share it with the you.
