Artwork Description

Framed Canvas Board

Signed on the front.

This artwork comes with an external frame

A man in an elevator has reached the top floor but he still wants to go higher. The lift encapsulates him and represents his feelings, his soul and his yearning of wanting more. This painting is about having it all and still wanting the chase, reaching the peak and still feeling unsatisfied.

Painted in acrylics on canvas board, I have used bright, acidic colours on the face and in the pink lights above. The colours represent bright city, neon lights, ‘fun and excitement’ however they also clash in an intense, radioactive way.
