Beneath the Eucalyptus

" Beneath the Eucalyptus forms part of my "Natives" series, inspired by the colours of Australian native trees. This particular piece beckons observers to immerse themselves in the earthy, Australiana charm, portrayed through abstract, natural hues. I have pushed the texture a bit further with this one to create an almost mirage like effect, like the reflection of a eucalyptus in a lake.

Hello! I'm Madeline, an abstract artist based in Melbourne. I am captivated by the interplay of colour and texture, and find myself constantly experimenting with how to integrate them. I draw textural inspiration from the natural world, everyday life and the masters of colour, texture, and abstraction. I leave interpretation up to the eye of the viewer.
