Follow My Lead forms part of my Colourwave Series in a green edition capturing the quiet pull of the forest.

Inspired by the stillness of forest canopies and the shifting play of light through leaves, it invites the viewer into a grounded calm. Like stepping into a hidden grove, time softens, air thickens, and every sense slows. The palette recalls the whisper of moss, the shimmer of dew, the hush of tall trees.

Hello! I'm Madeline, an abstract artist based in Melbourne. I am captivated by the interplay of colour and texture, and find myself constantly experimenting with how to integrate them. I draw textural inspiration from the natural world, everyday life and the masters of colour, texture, and abstraction. I leave interpretation up to the eye of the viewer. I don't want to complicate it; I paint what I feel, with intent. If you enjoy it half as much as I did making it, then we'll call it a success!
