"Spring's Collage" explores the delicate balance between structure and spontaneity through layers of textured impasto. Each mark is deliberately placed, yet the overall composition maintains an organic, flowing quality reminiscent of scattered petals. Working within a restrained palette of dusty rose, sage, and golden ochre, the piece invites contemplation of how individual gestures accumulate into cohesive beauty. Hello! I'm Madeline, an abstract artist based in Melbourne. I am captivated by the interplay of colour and texture, and find myself constantly experimenting with how to integrate them. I draw textural inspiration from the natural world, everyday life and the masters of colour, texture, and abstraction. I leave interpretation up to the eye of the viewer.
