Artwork Description

'Beneath The Gum Tree ' forms part of my 'Botanicals' series, inspired by the colours of Australian native trees. This particular piece beckons observers to immerse themselves in the earthy, Australiana charm, portrayed through abstract, natural hues. I have pushed the texture a bit further with this one to create an almost mirage like effect, like the reflection of a Gum Tree in a lake. Multiple layering techniques of both multi media and acrylic paint were applied to create this effect. Enjoy!
