Magdalena is a Polish‑born Australian artist and a passionate self‑taught creator who began painting a decade ago. Working primarily in acrylics, she discovered her artistic voice through exploration, intuition, and a deep love of colour.
Now living in the tropics, she draws inspiration from the vivid colours and bold forms of the natural world — the lush greens of the rainforest, the intensity of tropical blooms, and the shifting light that moves across the coastline. Her work has also travelled far beyond Australia. In 2023, her painting Hope was selected for a charity auction in London, where it was successfully sold to support humanitarian aid efforts. The piece, inspired by the colours of the Ukrainian flag and the universal longing for peace, became a symbol of compassion and solidarity.
