May Elsaid is an Egypt-born artist who carved her career out in the art world in Cairo & Queensland’s Gold Coast, while pursuing her careers in interior design, FF&E and photography. May loved art and design since she was 6 years old, so when she grew up she chose to go for interior design studies. After graduating the faculty of interior architecture, May worked in interior design firms in Egypt & obtained her Master degree in Fine arts. In the last few years, May decided to go forward in art, and to prioritize it in her life. Since then, she had participated in many art exhibitions & competitions. In Gold Coast, May started her own art studio MIRSAI, and participated in many OZy exhibitions. May’s style is inspired by the magical sights of nature and history. However, she tends to change the postulates of nature & history to what she feels and beliefs. Nonetheless, she likes to use mixed media in different and creative ways.
