I have a love of Asian inspired paintings where there is simplicity and minimalism but also that have a meaning. In this way our lives and our environments are enhanced by the artwork.
The technique of tapping into an emotion and then painting that emotion in an abstract way is something I have been creating for years for myself. After encouragement from friends I have decided to do them for others as well.
This painting, Moving Forward, was inspired by the feeling of being a bit stuck in whatever that way is for you, coming out the other side, and a feeling of it’s time to move forward again. I love when that happens and once again we are off in whatever way that is at that time.
This is a unique, original one off painting that happens with this process of intuitive painting technique I use. No two paintings are ever the same! The background is white textured and the paint work is in Payne's Grey which is a blue/black. The edges have been painted in Payne's Grey to enhance the painting.
This artwork has been finished with archival varnish to protect and enhance the painting.

In situ photos were created in an app and I have tried to represent them as close to the actual size as possible but please measure the dimensions of the work on your wall to make sure you are purchasing the correct size for your requirements.
Packaging & Delivery
This artwork is available, ready for purchase and delivery to your door. It leaves my studio within 3 business days and is carefully prepared for shipping with archival tissue paper wrap, the corners covered, 3 layers of bubble wrap and sturdy cardboard to complete the packaging. Delivery is included in the artworks price.
