Artwork Description

As always I am drawn to contrasts in nature and life. The double edge sword of blossoms reminds us of a time of renewal and growth and optimism but sadly they last only 2 weeks and represent the fleeting nature of life. In this time of uncertainty in 2021 let us be reminded of the transience of the situation that we find ourselves in. Let us focus on the renewal that spring brings.

Artist Bio

Mandi paints intuitive atmospheric landscapes that captures the mood of nature. ” Nature or creation is the one place where I find an abundance of ideas and reverence from. The opposites in nature intrigues me, order versus chaos, soft against rough textures, light in darkness, etc, The always changing elements in growth or climate and the moods that it brings forth, The energy in itself, the detail when you look closer, and the bigger picture when you look up, are all part of the endless amazement that makes me want to be part of the creative process!”
