Originally from Brisvegas, I moved to Melbourne about 20 years ago and fell in love with it. In the past few years, I have devoted as much time as possible to drawing and painting, and as a self-taught artist, I'm always finding ways to learn the fundamentals and embrace the journey to developing my own unique, identifiable style. When not being consumed by reading, watching, social media-ing, listening to podcasts etc. on painting, I work on my local homewares and custom wall decal/artwork company called Neon Pear.
When I’m in my studio experimenting, I try to work with a variety of media, including oil and acrylic paints, pastel, spray paint and cement work, (with a touch of photography). I believe my work shows glimpses of my affinity for travel, big & busy cities, street art and really vibrant colours. I’m always experimenting with mediums and styles and I am learning techniques now that have been invaluable in my pursuit perfecting my craft. Im really attracted to portraiture at present but I also have a passion for painting vibrant botanicals.
