My inspiration for this work was remembering those days of make believe and imagination, where everything seemed easy. You could climb a tree and feel on top of the world and that the sun would shine forever. Every birthday would be perfect, it wasn’t the gift, it was the feeling, the taste.

There’s so much in this painting. Beautiful textures and depth. May you feel your warm fuzzy memories here too. x
