Rainbow finch

I love bright vibrant colours and what better example of natural depiction of this colour range than the Gouldian 'rainbow' finch. They are native to northern Australia.

Renoir is quoted as having said: Why shouldn't art be pretty? There are enough unpleasant things in the world." I agree with Renoir's philosophy and that's why I endeavour to create cheerful images by using bright bold colours to depict florals, fields of flowers, sunrise and sunsets, beach and surfing scenes as well as still life.
