Mangroves conjure up images of aerial roots and smelly mud. I came across this fruit of the mangrove beside the mangroves at Redland Bay in Brisbane. I was struck with the contrast of the fleshy fruit against the backdrop of the mangrove roots. It adds an earthy feel to any desk or small wall space.

My work aims to support conservation and wildlife care, using art as a conduit to inspire care for the natural world.
