Born to Russian immigrant parents in Sydney, art was always going to be the major passion in my life. Had first solo exhibition in Darwin aged 21. I started using pastels at an early age, then continued on in oils & eventually acrylics when I had moved to America in early 1991. I've taught in many art leagues & art societies in Australia, USA & Europe over the past 50 years.
Now, as a "retiree" & living on the Mornington Peninsula I’ve got more time to push paint around on different surfaces. My passion for using wild strokes on my florals is still strong. The highlight of my Show achievements was the Gold award at the Victor Harbour Show a few years ago, Highly recommended award at the Camberwell Show, inclusion into the All Florida Show are all part of my artistic journey.
My work is included in private collections on 3 continents.
