Artwork Description

Working tug boats are often un-noticed in harbours as these go about the business of making sure shipping docks correctly and leaves the harbours without incident. These are original photographic images layered to create an image of water and tug seamlessly entering the inner sanctum of life on land.

Artist Bio

I’ve been making art or being creative all my life, with my creativity taking many forms including multiple mediums such as: pastels, oils, acrylics, fabric piecing, writing, photography and professionally with business and community creating change.

Being based in rural and regional areas has allowed me the freedom to experience many different landscapes, people and community interactions. I contribute to a rich artist’s collective where I live, and have shared and learnt from other artists and professional teachers.

As a colourist I seek to portray vibrancy, light and love pastels with a passion because different strokes, different pressure, different textured surfaces allows for expression that’s difficult to achieve with other mediums. My love is the wide landscapes, unique vistas, mountains, deserts and seas, that are uniquely Australian.

My creative process is fed through having positive feedback loops with other artists, patrons and positive social media feedback. I hope to promote my works, exhibit widely, share and sell my works to like minded art lovers.
