Wiradjuri people are ‘river people’, skilled fisher hunter-gathers. The big rivers sustained our peoples every need.
My artwork shows specific areas of Wiradjuri Country where I grew up, while my father sourced food for our family. The symbols represent my family gathering on Country. The hills, rivers, land and waterholes.
