Artwork Description

Acrylic on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.

Signed certificate of authenticity.

This painting was inspired by the drummer, Anthony Shortte, when he was playing with Collard, Greens and Gravy at Echuca Winter Blues Festival a few years ago. His hair often streams around his face as he becomes immersed in playing. I have utilised a minimalist style with the detail limited to the hair. The colour palette invokes the liveliness of the music.
