Artwork Description

“Quiet Forager” captures an intimate woodland moment, portraying a red squirrel paused in gentle stillness. Rendered with soft, naturalistic detail, the piece emphasizes texture—fine fur, delicate whiskers, and the subtle grain of birch bark—while a pastel background dissolves the setting into calm, airy space.
The work draws influence from traditional wildlife illustration and botanical art, blended with a contemporary softness that prioritizes mood over realism. The restrained palette and tender expression invite a sense of curiosity, vulnerability, and quiet connection with nature.
