I’m Marie Anthonette, a self-taught artist who loves bringing stories to life through my art. I work with a mix of materials like acrylics, oils, watercolors, colored pencils, and fluid paints—whatever feels right for what I want to say.
My paintings are inspired by nature, people, and the places that mean something to me. A lot of my work reflects Australia’s beauty, like sunsets over the Sydney Opera House, the rich colors of native flowers, or the calm presence of Uluru. I like using bold colors and textures to create pieces that feel alive and full of emotion.
For me, art is about connection. It’s about capturing a feeling, a moment, or a story that others can see themselves in. I don’t try to make things perfect—instead, I embrace the little surprises that happen along the way. They make each piece unique, just like life.
When people look at my art, I hope they feel something—whether it’s joy, peace, or just a little spark of curiosity. That’s what keeps me painting.
