'Here I am' is an original composition exploring the moral worth of the individual. Everybody wants to fit in, to be accepted, to be ordinary, but not the same.
The image of this youth suggests a person who has realised their worth and is ready to put their 'stamp' on the world by meeting challenges resourcefully and creatively.
I aim to stimulate a positive sensory response through the use of colour, theme and form. I used the warmth and richness of gold to illuminate and enhance the surrounding environment; and turquoise to inspire feelings of creativity.
Artwork is finished with professional gloss varnish to provide both a protective surface and to intensify the beautiful colour energy. Comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.

My passion for creative expression goes back to early childhood where I loved spending time drawing, painting and experimenting with music.

Ever since I could remember, I've believed that we are so much more than what is perceived by the accepted normal. Growing up, these feelings manifested into passions for art, literature, philosophy, metaphysics and esoteric pursuits which greatly influence the themes in my paintings.

Through painting, I am able to share ideas and themes that connect me with everything 'out there'. Natural forms, celestial elements and moving water are often featured in my art for their strong association with transformation and expansion.

I believe that art has the power to connect, inspire and challenge our surroundings. I try to create art that is interesting and engages the viewers’ attention to other possibilities and places of higher introspection.

Painting brings me great joy and I hope a sense of that feeling is reflected in my art.
