Artwork Description

I wanted to capture those big brown puppy eyes looking up at you while creating an artwork that shows the playful side of the dog. I painted Charlie in my art studio from a photo supplied by the dog’s owner. The owner discusses the following about Charlie;
“Who found her home with me through an old work colleague who bred Labradors. I had been looking for a puppy for some time, but this was the first litter that really jumped out at me. I went to view the remaining puppies – two little girls and the pup in the pink collar melted my heart! Sure enough, the next afternoon, she was on her way home with me! Charlie is a very personable dog. She loves being around people and has no sense of personal space. She is very affectionate and loving and uses her wet nose and slobbery tongue to provide plenty of kisses. She is a smart pup and has been very easy to train as she just wants to please! Charlie loves to swim and play in the water. She also loves to test the patience of her big sister's beagle, who is ten years her senior, and who tolerates her admirably. She also loves walks and couch snuggles. Charlie doesn’t like to be alone too long, and she definitely doesn’t like to be told no when she wants to swim! Charlie has been a wonderful addition to my home, and she never fails to warm my heart, even when she’s acting like the teenager she is at the moment. She has a beautiful temperament and matches my outdoorsy interests".
