The word "Jord" means earth, it is identified within the text on the back cover of the book.
This art book comprises of 12 tiles/pages depicting landscapes, some with derelict buildings. The inspiration for the landscapes comes from bushwalking through the open plains of Tasmania's central highlands, the harsh environment has remnants of habitation attempts. The derelict buildings are symbols of the emptiness that can be experienced in the city, a contrast to my experience in the bush.
The book can be displayed on a bookshelf, mantel piece, side table. It opens out to 100cm, displaying all 12 tiles, or partially closed to show 2 or 4 tiles at a time.
