Late Afternoon Landscape

The exagerated orange colour of the mountains contrasts brilliantly with the greenery of the willows that overhang the lake. The afternoon sky is highlighted with yet a further intense orange, reflected in the water. This image is reminescent of my search for trout in the backcountry of both Tasmania and New Zealand. The painting is on 300gsm, 100% cotton paper. The contrasting colour scheme will enhance any living area at home or in the office.
