Artwork Description

The Last Nest is a powerful tribute to resilience, sacrifice, and the instinct to protect those we love.
As an unforgiving bushfire consumes the Australian landscape, two eagles stand between the flames and their vulnerable nest. One rises into the fiery sky while the other remains steadfast, guarding the tiny eaglets hidden among the branches. Surrounded by smoke, burning trees, and an overwhelming blaze, they embody unwavering courage in the face of impossible odds.
Rich crimson, amber and deep earth tones capture both the destructive force of fire and the enduring strength of life. More than a wildlife painting, The Last Nest is a story of hope, devotion, and the determination to preserve the future even when everything else appears lost.

Artist Bio

I've been an artist since I was a child. Painting has always been a passion of mine, ever since I can remember. I've had my work exhibited in many places, and in many publications over time. More recently I completed a diploma in Fine Art, and then an Advanced Diploma of Creative Product Development.
This has enabled me to evolve, looking to always experiment in styles, and methods, constantly improve myself. My passions lie in being able to express myself through art, painting what I see, communicating in my own medium.
