Marilou Palazon is a Sydney - based Artist. Her artworks are monumental & dramatic floral and botanicals.
As an artist she treats her botanicals as large landscapes full of textures and luscious colour - the the simplicity of her images as big still lives.
This approach adds a sculptural element to her works. She also has a passion for Australian natives.The choice of florals is a transhistorical theme, although beautiful and decorative hint also the cycle of life- creation , beauty, decay and rebirth.
