Hurrying Home

I am drawn to painting figures that have appealed to my heart in some way. If they are wearing distinctive clothing then that is a bonus. I spent a lot of time on capturing the two boys, and then their surroundings gave me pause until the pink seemed to bring the piece to life.

I have painted in watercolours and acrylics for twenty years. My works have appeared in Verandah Literary Journal and in various exhibitions, and I have sold many. I love having people in my life and in my works. Writing and painting give me so much pleasure, as does gardening, reading and craft, tennis, and watching the always colourful and intriguing parade of life.
