Mixed Media on paper
Signed on the front.
I love travelling in the mid-west of Western Australia through the rolling wheat fields and bush countryside. This painting was done from my photo of a magnificent old gum on the road to Mullewa taken on a recent trip. I first drew the image onto 300 gram Arches top quality watercolour paper and then built up the painting with a series of washes and fine detail. I then inked in the darker side of the trunks and branches with Art Spectrum Burnt Sienna to enhance the shadow areas. This painting will be securely packed in foam board and placed in a cardboard box before posting. This painting is unframed. I believe this painting will give you a taste of the bush while you are relaxing at home.
